A weekly gathering on social media where writers find each other, cheer each other on, and leave with a few new friends at the desk.
Writing can be lonely, especially at two in the morning. A writer lift is a simple post where writers introduce themselves in the replies and follow and encourage one another. Ours comes with a question, so you meet people through what they're writing, not just their handles.

How to join in
- Find the pinned post on any of our accounts above.
- Answer the question in a reply: your name or pen name, what you write, and a line about your work in progress.
- Lift two others. Read a few replies, follow writers whose work interests you, and leave them a kind word.
- Come back. The best part of a lift is the conversation that follows it.
